Chingy has enjoyed a lot of success in his career, beginning with the summer 2003 smash hit "Right Thurr." Chingy was born Howard Bailey, Jr., on March 9, 1980, in St. Louis, MO. Chingy’s first single "Right Thurr" became a quick hit, peaking at number two on Billboard's Hot 100 and number one on Billboard’s Top 40 and Billboard’s Hot Rap Tracks. Jackpot spawned two additional Top three hits, "Holidae In" and "One Call Away". Jackpot went on to sell three million units (triple platinum). Powerballin' (2004), Chingy's second album, was released by Capitol and with the success of the lead single, Powerballin’ the album went on to reach platinum status. In 2006, Chingy released his third album, Hoodstar. The album was led by "Pullin' Me Back," which reached the number one spot on the Billboard Hot 100. The album was certified gold, selling over 500,000 units. Chingy has universal, worldwide cross over appeal. He has headlined tours in Europe, Australia and Africa. Chingy is corporate friendly because he leaves the elements of the street out of his lyrics. He has a very strong female fan base in all racial demographic groups. Chingy plans to begin 2011 with the release of two singles. The first, “Superhero" single featuring Chris Woodhouse, and his second single “Paperman ” Chingy will release mixtape "Jackpot is Back". 2012 Spring with single "Let it Go". Chingy's Winter Release of "Chances Make Champions" includes Hot tracks and New songs.. It's really a ablum.
