Rells Fargo - Tupac Or Biggie
Born and bred in Downtown Cincinnati, Rells Fargo came up like most adolescents in his neighborhood. Skating rinks, swimming pools and rap music was his life while angsta rap artists and popular east and west coast Hip Hop acts like tupac, E40,Jay-z, Biggie, and Nas supplied the soundtrack to his life. .... “My first time rapping I was 9 or 10 ,” reflects Fargo, who to this day remembers his first attempt at rapping . In many ways, looking on Fargo’s life is akin to watching a film like Training Day or seeing an animal grow. Distracted by his surroundings, Fargo was kicked out of school before entering 10th grade and left home soon after. At 14, he jumped off the porch hustling everything from cigarettes to drugs to keep some change in his pocket. Dissatisfied by the trouble life was offering him, Fargo decided to act on one of his first instincts, rapping. Direct Deposit chronicles his life experiences from that point on, and shed lights on the lives of others like his. .... “In the city everyone invests with me they trust me on all levels because its a concrete jungle you can get ate up out there.” explains Fargo about the mixtape’s title. Now, with the audience’s appetites whetted for Direct Deposit, Fargo is poised to show the world that the bank is open. .... Fargo spits the truth on songs like “Streets keep talking to me” where he informs listeners that even after being rich the streets can still speak to u. He also brings energy on the Lex Luger produced “Dont owe a nigga,” talking about how he went from ashy to classy. .... With songs like the already certified club banger “2pac or biggie” and no features from any major artists, Direct Deposit will serve as a proper introduction to one of the most unique voices rap has ever heard
